Enjoys Sun, lime, well-drained soil and thrives with compost. Hardy perennial evergreen clump & self-sows if happy. native of southern Europe, used in beds, borders and rockeries, excellent cut flower, full sun or part shade, sow seeds late summer to autumn and spring in cooler climates, direct sowing is rewarding
